- Real-time hardware-in-the-loop simulations can be performed due to the real-time software and hardware capabilities of the acquisition and control systems. It allows to simulate in real-time through any system the battery is connected to (microgrid, electric vehicle, etc.) and download it in real-time to the battery tester, so the battery can be tested under the power and energy requirements of the application being studied. All software and hardware are based on NI and LabView, and making use of VeriStand to communicate specific softwares (MATLAB, COMSOL, AVL-CRUISE, AUTONOMIE, etc.) to the real-time acquisition and control system.
